Still have questions? We have the answers. Find here the essentials on the tax return, tax optimisation and insurance in Luxembourg.

Am I required to file a tax return in Luxembourg?▾

It depends on your income, your tax class and your status (resident/cross-border commuter). We check for free whether you are concerned, and above all whether filing is in your interest.

Yes. Every appointment includes a tax optimisation review, with no commitment.

Is the outstanding loan balance deductible?▾

Yes, the outstanding-loan-balance insurance premium linked to your home loan is deductible (ceiling depending on age and situation).

I am a cross-border commuter, can you help me?▾

Yes, we support both residents and (assimilated) cross-border commuters.

Which documents should I bring to my appointment?▾

Salary/pension certificates, interest and insurance certificates, supporting documents for deductible expenses.

What is LFS life insurance?▾

Do you assist English-speaking residents and commuters?▾

Yes. We advise English-speaking residents and cross-border commuters, explain the Luxembourg tax return in plain English and handle the paperwork for you.
